As workplaces across Australia mark NAIDOC Week, new research from the University of Technology Sydney has found more than half of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workers still experience racism on the job.
The national survey highlights ongoing gaps in workplace protections, with researchers calling for greater accountability from employers, and for racism to be treated as seriously as sexism under the law.
