Earth’s Greatest Enemy – it’s the name of a new documentary investigating the United States’ military, casting light on its impact as the world’s largest institutional polluter.
Over the last five years journalist, Abby Martin and her husband, US war veteran Mike Prysner, have pieced together a complex picture of US imperialism, claiming that ‘fighting the war machine and tackling climate change are inherently the same fight,’ which comes amid the devastating effects the Pentagon has on the planet.
Ms Martin is in currently in Australia for the screening of her film in several parts of the country. She will also attend this weekend’s Independent Peaceful Australia Network conference in Adelaide as a keynote speaker, joining the rise of anti-AUKUS campaigners.
